I like your repaint of a repaint of Nounette's MidEast houses.    
Especially that tiny little detail of a ladder + its shadow. Almost 3D effect.

And not to forget that video of The Clash. 
Used to be my favourite band when I was sooo much younger.

what lovely city is that on your map ?

It's the Kiev repaint I'm doing right now. I cant seem to be able to give up mapmodding, I also retextured/rebuilt the Normandy-1 and Bessarabia maps.

Pretty cool.!

What I find remarkable is the transition from 100 km/h (and much less before) in 1914 to high Mach numbers and spaceflight less than 50 years later.
Arguably a hughe step...but I agree what Lilienthal and Wright brothers did paved the way.
 

My grandmother watched the first Zeppelin burn over London from her front door, was "chased" down her road by a V1, watched the first man land on the moon on TV and the space shuttle come back to earth all in her lifetime.....I get where you are coming from...

Indeed a remarkable and amazing lifetime's experience, of course the WWII experience was not a pleasant one.
