That pic of Alfies raises a good point - shouldn't '40s era major cities have big issues with smog due to all the coal burning? Does the game need a smog mod?
In your conf.ini you can set your "Fog" values to have more or less Fog (or SMOG) on the landscape.
The fog usually appears only in the
morning beginning at sunrise and slowly vanishes at about 11:00 am.
Makes for some very beautiful and dramatic screenshots and also flying adventures.
at the bottom of your Conf.ini, you can choose it....
At the moment I have mine set to a value 2, but sometimes I make it to 3 or 4
