@Captain Dawson

...looks like 109 white 3 had a fight with this guy

"blood and holes? doesn´t matter. made in germany! hehe"

Lol! I do think the cannon hole damage model looks a bit weird on the 109, especially since I hit him with only machine guns!  :P  Some of the cannon damage holes do look like bites out of the airframe!

The holes matter, and you can't see the damage on the inside. This 109 was hopeless, evidenced by the fact that my wingmen flew next to me for the screenshot rather than continuing to shoot the 109. The 109 pilot survived my attack, but he must have lost all hydraulic and control surfaces, because he soon drilled a burning hole into the ground.  :D

Dogfight over Rabaul: I can still out turn him! (Lucky the AI is stupid, he overshot me  :) )

Beautiful MiSP atmospheric airstrip:

Ardennes sunset: I returned just before dark after destroying a train, several flak guns, and a FW and barely getting out alive!

Has been said before in relation to the Bf-109 damaged fuselage.  :D

Besides that the damage layer of so many planes are sooo much better as you can see on page 1.  ;)  8)

All i did with that old 109 damage mod was to resize and sharpen the old damage layers with some added effects, otherwise its stock. I have new damage layers for the Bf 109E, but I'll need some more time to expand it to the whole series because those alpha channel holes must be put into every single default skin.

Wow, still looks like a lot of work to me, VP! All I need to do now is figure out how I can shoot a 109 so I can see the maximum damage on every part for screenshots!  :)

Low-flying fun in VP's Slovakia re-texture:

Buzzing around the valley in a B-24. Most fun I've had all day. (I guess that's not saying much though)
