The B-24 cockpit was very well done. I love it!  :)









Also Slovakia is my favorite map. I still think it has some of the best terrain features and objects, and it also is one of the most painstaking recreations of the cities and factories present in real life.

It took them 3 years to complete, lots of the Slovakia map is true depiction of real life places, its not a fantasy map like many other stock maps. Best maps of IL-2 are 3rd party mod maps.

It is by far the best IL2 stock map.
Summer ánd winter version. I used to fly a lot on it.
I remember that in the beginning I had difficulties to spot vehicle columns on the Slovakia map. Because land textures are more detailed and more objects placed on the map. Which makes it harder to distinguish tanks and trucks on fields and roads.
And the simple way they simulate human activity by adding hay stacks on the fields, washing lines in the gardens and tombstones in the yards.

Still a good map after all those years (2008/2009?).  :)
