I just love the Spitfire Mk.IXc  :). Togheter with the 109G-10, Mc.202 Series III/VII and the P-51D-20, they are my favorite WW2 fighters.

Peculiar ! .....how dare you Sir !

This is cutting edge technology in 1910
This beauty can pull a 30 degree take off angle from a standing start....... try that in your Pony
Mind you, the engine is terribly weak.....I've managed to seize the bloody thing twice trying to fly over Monte Castellone  :(

Anyone know where I can buy a new set of pistons for a Goliescu Avioplan ?   ]banghead[

Cheers

Have you tried Ebay or Gumtree? :)
Surely an aeroplane of that type would not of been able to fly at that height and in that weather in reality?

Horrible smell of burning at 300m ...... then silence

Fully clenched  o_O

To make matters worse without that modest power the Avioplan stalls quickly and with great aplomb   :o

Cheers
