I extracted the B-24's with my green screen map from IL-2, the pilot was green screened from Call of Duty: World at War, the background pic from my personal photo archive.
I do this mostly in Adobe After Effects, just some touching up later on in Photoshop.
For the guys who feel like it's a daunting task to create these kind of compilations: I just started with this and with the right tools it is (like said before here) actually pretty easy. It just takes a bit of practice, practice, practice.. and a wee bit of imagination I guess. Try it, it's fun to create your own art !!
