it doesn't look quite the same as yours, but yes, there's one here - https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,41576.msg467500.html#msg467500
the more, the merrier, i say, so if it's not exactly the same, i'd be keen to try it -
we might have to figure out something for the naming, though, might be problematic having two models sharing the same variant name...

Fun over Slot I

Thanks PA_Jeronimo for shaing parts of your skin selection, some are really very cool and Pacific skins in general look better IMHO.

Malone, just to clear things up a bit mate Doc's model is a bit of an experimental 'what if' it's based on sputnikshocks G6 , and is supposed to represent a Ju88 H kind of aircraft, it has Jumo engines of the G6.

Barnsey correctly stated that the G1 should just be the G6 model with BMW radial engines, just as his newly released R1 is a BMW engined C6.

Hope this helps clear up any confusion.

Ps. Barnsey where did you get that image of a G1 from mate?

Tom2

this p-38 have 3d engine fix?

I hope I get permission, I asked one of the original makers of this part of the Skies Of Fire modpack via another gent for it.
Hope I hear from him.
 ;)
Chrs

PS
That mod (Skies of Fire modpack) was posted in AAS, in the HSFX section. The P-38s would need some more fixes, and the classfiles must be there as well AFAIK, but in 4.09m it works.
Still not eprfect but better than stock. ;)
I recall from another thread that the creator of the IL-2 P-38 3D models was initially disappointed that he had to cut down his 3D model polys due to gameplay demands. :-\
Wish he was am odder here. :D  :(

 ;)

Some more of these missions.

Those who want the 3D, pm me, I would not want to post it before I have the ok and can give proper credits.
Yet I'm not the only one who uses it, some guys did the same as me, use it from the Skies of Fire pack and AFAIK it is also in default HSFX. ;)
Fun thing is in 4.09m it works flawless (almost), in 4.12 you can see some gaps here and there.

One of the reasons I love DBW 1916.....the close intensity of the dogfighting........

Escorting 3 Bolshevik  Hansa C1 in a Neiuport 21 I get jumped by 2 UGA Nieuport 21 Duks + a veteran in a Nieuport 17b.
I kill the pilot in one 21 with a lucky headshot and lure the other  into the side of a mountain  8)
But I take my eye off the veteran in the 17b who jumps me a second time and destroys my controls and I crash just outside the village........ >:(

Enormous Fun  :D

Cheers
