with a 1959 jet.
replace the fishbed with a jet of 2006 Vintage , like say a gripen, an eurofighter or something and you are a bit more accurate!

It's Czech Republic 3rd Gen MiG-21MF that's been upgraded to carry modern weapon. Both the skin and time period is authentic.

Well...true, but hard to built. The Hornet comes closest IMO.

Also Mig-21Bis/Bisons etc still fly today and where recently upgraded with F-16 comparable avionics,
they still give NATO jets a hard time within visual.
