It's Czech Republic 3rd Gen MiG-21MF that's been upgraded to carry modern weapon. Both the skin and time period is authentic.

Actually, the upgraded were called MFN (N for NATO). Those in picture are just pure MF (9805 and 9801), serving from 1974 till 2004 together with MFN's (ten MF's from 1974 upgraded in 1990's). So yes, IL-2 2006.

then you can just as easily paint a cambodian C-47, and put the logo in there that says 2006?
that's BS, innit.

and you said they flew till 2004. so... put the 2004 logo in there for "some" accuracy?

That's one thing

Second - the 2006 holds a tradition of nr.6 - 1916/1946/1956. 2006 stands for turn of century, not for concrete year.

Mr. Boyan, these screens look like FSX graphic style - very good mystification! I think they are P-51s with every 3D fixs, aren´t they?
