Recently, i was landing my damaged Fokker and i saw that in my absence some cattle from a farm near our aerodrome had broken a fence and wandered into the landing area.



Several crewmen and a couple of soldiers tried with little luck to halt and reverse their advance.



After trying with great futility to stop the advance of the cattle, the farmer was contacted. However he refused to take responsibility for his animals so there was only one thing left to do...

Call in an artillery strike!!  It was "Danger Close" but it had to be done.
