Nice skins, but it would make me wonder if a "Kraut" would split "Edelweiss" like that.
Usually it would rather be "Edel" and "weiss".
Furthermore the correct german spelling uses a sharp "s", so it would be "Edelweiß", split form would be "Edel" and "weiß".

... yep, Mike is totally right, especially in 1914-1918, "Edelweiß" and not "Edelweiss" ...  ;)

... and the plit would be after Edel (means "noble" in German), weiß meaning "white", in fact Edelweiß is a rare mountain flower ...  ;)
