Pretty cool Max. :)
Just had a flight in Ifni with an A-3 prop-per, but sun shone in my eyes and I hit the ground later. :D
Like deserts..preferrably with P-38s and Mustangs as well as jets.
I manage to crash in every plane, that is how I usually end my overlong desert missions.

As for texturing, I am surprised how different they look at different monitors.
I often found my Ifni 3 tex way too red and on my current monitor they look way different, for some reasons deserts are most prone to colour variations.
I also have to asay most monitors seem to use wayyyy too much brightness by default.
