I have heard of the Big Clouds mod but don't know how that one looks like to be honest.
This one is largely based on the textures in Bender's Ultimate Environment Cloud mod.
(Actually the clouds in his mod were created by Realenvironmentxtreme.com meant for FSX which Bender extracted for IL2.

I always liked those clouds but unfortunately it does have issues when flying in bad weather. Squares in the far distance. Killed the immersion.

That problem is over now.
