All problems with computer configuration only!
The Model contains plenty of polygons and is gravely loaded on weak computer!

Sorry for my bad english :)

Seems funny though,I have had no other troubles getting any other object to show up in the game other than this mod.Telling us that are computers are weak makes no sense, your saying we need new super computers to get this mod to show up or is it something we can adjust for in the config ini?

 :(        :o
It 'really a mystery also for  me .... even the inclusion of the original mod worked, but then when I have replaced the subsequent pach the mod has stopped working! Even reinstalling the first mod , when I try to open it, the game crashes .... boh. For the moment I took it out, and I feel sorry.

Could this perhaps be another ATI limitation?

No, I dont have an ATI card. Could it be how 4.12 reads data? Inside its folders it says  " mono " instead of live for live.sim

I have no idea why it is not working in your game, it is working very good in my DBW.4.10 version, which I
have hundreds of other mods and mod-airplanes. This is very puzzling to me.

I will remove this skin update from public downloads.
Sorry to trouble you guys  :-[

No Max. Dont remove it. Please. This is a 4.12 issue I'm sure.

Hello Max, this works great for me in both DBW 1.71 and 4.12.2 with SAS ModAct 5.30. 8)

I actually have the folder 'New_Horsa_Gliders_Static_objects' in my respective mod folders with the 3do folder inside that.

It may be that others are adding the contents of the 3do folder into the one in mapmods, just a thought, should work whichever way I think but could be worth checking. :-\

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

Tried Mission_bug's suggestion in my DBW 1.71,at least I didn't get the error message in Fmb but nothing shows up in the viewing window and I can't place anything on the map that shows up,so still no joy.

Max!!!! I figured it out. :) I found that I only get the "crash" or conflict when in FMB and try to see the object in the window. BUT if you dont click "show" and just place it on a map it works. So please repost your work but just explain about this issue.

It may just be a conflict with the visual mod or another but it DOES work. Just dont try to look at in the objects window.

Do you mean that little Blue-screen (on the pop-up window) where you can see the static-objects?
I always use it and I have the Glider showing in it.
It also rotates like the other objects.
I select it and click on the map and it appears with no problem.
I zoom in and zoom out very far away and I see that airplane.
There must be some other static-object or something else makinga conflict with this object, which
I am not aware of at this moment.
I still cannot understand what is wrong, because I have about 6000+ static-objects
all working ok.

Are you using 4.12 ModAct 5.3? It may a conflict with a mod. All I know is that in my 4.12, you can place them on a map and then change to different ones and they work. I just cant look at them in the objects window in FMB or I get the crash but my point is this works and they are great so please repost your work. :)
