Just had a load of fun shooting up the new stukas with this! Its a nimble little sucker with a wild retro look! I half expected to see Don Carna'ge hop out when I finally had to bail! oh yeah and not sure how intended it is but sometimes in a dive this thing starts shaking and fluttering around like crazy, like maybe its intended but they went a little overboard because instead of only shaking its wobbling, dang near spinning around its COG...

Edit- AArgh! just tried to fight this thing using the ki-10 and cr-32 which I HAD thought of as very nimble before....Holy crap the Fiat Just Could not Get Behind this Thing! And chasing it made the KI-10 feel like I was in an f-4 chasing migs or something... lots of YoYos just to land the 2 small bursts I got onto this blue thing while it put several streams into my bird! All those YoYos got us low enough that he eventually failed to pull out of a dive... but geeze this thing is hard to kill! Not complaining it was fun but I would think the later planes would be at less of a disadvantage....

Gio, please... Does it would be possible to correct the landing issue of the Curtiss? It lands only on land, and not on water....

And, if possible, a top speed of 390 Km/h would be the right match to stay "historically correct for the Curtiss R3C-2 racer, winner of the 1925 Schneider Trophy contest, (Chesepeake Bay, Baltimore)...

sorry for the request here, but I think it is maybe better than in the proper section, not to lost the "focus"...

Thank you... And sorry to bother you.

Cheers

Macchi M.28 Seaplane racer, 1926. (fictional) Mixing in the Hier.him file I visually removed the huge chin radiator and the machineguns and blisters.
Flush radiators in Italian Style added.

And here the militaryzed version of it. Two .303 machineguns and a conventional radiator in a "tunnel" arrangement protected by a metal grid net..

With a proper "maquillage" this little plane looks amazingly Italian...

After a PM Exchange Gio told me he was unable to fix the speed and the wrong landing behavior of the Curtiss.
So, if someone with the skills to do so can kindly jump in and save the situation, he or she will surely be awarded with a deep gratefulness from a lot of people...

Thank you in advance!

UPDATE: Asked the original FM and slot maker for this plane, CWatson, and he kindly answered he will have a look at it. So, there's hope for a quick solution of the issue.

Thank you CWatson!

Hi!

Sorry to revamp this tread but there are good news!

Mission_bug has realized the stationary for it:

https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,48542.msg765883.html#msg765883

BUT

A little fix in the FM is needed because it sit low while placed over water....

I hope someone could give it a quick overview in the next future!

Thanks to Mission_bug for the stationary and to the guys who 'll fix the water height bug!

To revamp the interest in this plane I made a series of skins...

A fictional USAAF series of 12 generic skins for each Squadron....

12 x no Squadron colors + 12 each x white , blue , red and yellow spinners....

A further skin pack about a fictional AVG in support of Colombia in the 1932 Leticia conflict against Peru 'll be released in the next future in my Leticia War DGen Campaign....

Here an example of the USAAF available soon here and on M4T.....
