Bombsaway's Non Historical Chichi Map.

This is a non historical version of the Chichi map. In the WWII photos in my thread of the histrical Chichi map it shows the results of B-24s bombing of Chichi. Since the map isnt large enough to have other islands where these B-24s could have flown from I added an airbase at the southern island of this map.
Its runway is long enough to launch a B-24 fully loaded except you MUST use at least only 50% fuel. I tested with at least six B-24s and all was fine.

Credit for the original map goes to the maker from 1c and Whitecat who I used his update as a base becuse I like his populating of the map and texturing. Thank  you very much Whitecat.

Install....

Place the Chichi_BA_NH folder in your maps folder

Add the all.ini entry to your all.ini in your maps folder.

Place the BA_Chichi folder in your _tex folder.

Place the Mount2 folder in your #DBW folder and add the entry icluded to your static.ini

I dedicate this map To Max_thehitman for encouraging me to finish it.

Edit: Version 1.3 I added blank plates to runways for smooth take offs. Also combined all updates into one download.

Your welcome. :) It was a pain in the butt though.  >:(  You dont know how hard it is to make a runway that a big bomber like a B-24 can take off from.  ??? I think I have a bunch of new grey hair now.  :D I just hope the guys here like it.  8)

I edited textures.
I increased textures to 2048-2048 pixels.
Again I edited textures.
I created the new BumpH files of 4096-4096 pixels in size.

If the author resolves I will lay out the version of textures of this beautiful maps.

The size of the UNPACKED folder with textures of 712 megabytes.

Mark, the update has a WHC load.ini in it, would mean a new all.ini entry..Assume it is a typo?..;)

Yes, Sorry. It should be  "load.ini". and thank you. I need to add his credit to the post. I would forget my butt if it wasnt sewn on. :)

@Carsmaster... Thank you but are those my textures? They look different.

UPDATE tomorrow. Like an idiot I was so interested in making the islands look good I forgot to add blank plates on the land bases runways. When you try to take off its like rolling down a rocky hill. :) I have it fixed for both maps and will upload new verions in the morning.

Your maps beautiful.

Your textures contain high !!  potential.

1 . I made YOURS!! texture Spain_1024_Bekaa_16.tga of RGB, I edited YOURS!! texture, I made 2048 in size,
again I edited textures.
2 . I made the BumpH files of 4096 in size.
Certainly the big shortcoming is the size of the folder of textures-712 of megabytes >:( >:( :(
