mate, the stock game has issues like this when playing on 8 x speed. i don't recommend this as any sort of testing benchmark.

Tested it without the speed-up and the AI has a perfect, controllable landing glide speed, until they bounce from the runway and went reverse course and ditches to the sea...
Same result still... check it on Okinawa map Blue side scramble mission in QMB

Hello Eric, thank you very much for providing a low res version of this wonderfull flying machine, I am really growing to love this creation of yours even though I do not usually fly jets.

Would it be possible to have the mod set for low res as default please or can the additions to the latest update be added to the low res version?

When working with FMB it is necessary to deactivate the textures mod otherwise it takes forever to plot waypoints and add detail objects for mission/campaign buliders.

You can locate in folder 3do/plane/Yak-36:

damage1o.tga
damage2o.tga
summer/skin1o.tgb

Replace these 3 textures with the ones in the low-res mod version and your game will run fine without the HD texture mod .
