I just want to express my gratitude to all the modders that contributed to creating this aircraft. This is simply the best experience since the jet war came out. Not saying we didn't ever have VTOL (Lerche) but to do this in a modern jet is sort of like a revolutionary progress. It's awesome!

OK. I look back on your posts and I think you run DBW1.71 too. You now get +1 +1 and  +1.

I can confirm. Deploy refuel device does not work in DBW 1.71 for making the VTOL work. But hey! Who needs a tail hook to land on a carrier with this bird? :) Its SO easy to land using VTOL. Just try it. If I can do it, anyone can. :)

I dont think its a problem with thier game.I think that its that S-3 made this with 4.12 and DBW works differently with some codes so some things will work in 4.12 that wont work in DBW or 4.10 modact.

Here's my wierd dilemma.I can't get the new skins to show up.I used the air ini. name for the folder name but none of them show up.I know it's probably something stupid I did but was wondering if anyone else was having this problem

Hello, no vertical take-off in your latest 1 .26 update, using DBW 1.71 , JETWAR 1.3 AND 4.101M  have all listed aircraft and updates installed. Your previous versions worked perfectly, which I have as backup. This is not a complaint....You are in the pilots seat. Thanks again. Let me get to that log file.

I have it as (PaintScheme/skins/Yak-36S) but the templates didn't show up until I changed the format to bitmap (.bmp)
then I was able to show the Templates. Assuming you're referring to the Skin and template created By GGM. (note I have not updated to ver. 1.26, unable due to broken link)

In ref to your skins ,should be Yak-36s ( lower case s  ), should work. The skin folder should always match your air.ini.

Hello again Eric, not sure quite why but when I try to get the mod V1.26 from vertical take off to level flight the aircraft pitches forward and goes into a plummet to earth which is virtually impossible to recover from, to have any chance at all you have to be really high.

With the low res version 1.25 I think the transition is much less a drama and a really smooth transition whatever the hight.

Am I doing something wrong or did you change certain flight perameters in 1.26 that could explain this strange behaviour?

Flight tests done in modded 4.11 and 4.12.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

latest SAS engine mod have it  :)

I left the 1.25 version there as well. Because any further development of this aircraft will be heavily base of SAS Engine Mod 2.6 for 4.11.1m and will no longer be compatible to 4.12 or other game version.

sorry for the confusion guys, I have stated this a few post back but seem that it doesn't get enough attention.

For 4.10 users, you can use 1.25 ve cause the only difference is the tail hook.

Cheers,

S3

P/S: Pete, this plane isn't suppose to be stable. It's a Russian :D. I might have done something bad to the FM. I'll check both the FM and the deploy function.
