I haven't decided on weaponry yet but if Gerd doesn't mind, i'd like to use a version of one of your laser weapons. Obviously this is fictional, but i'm designing it to fit in with the game in terms of handling etc.

I do not mind!
Please use my laser cannon :D

All my Il2 skill will be no match for those lasers. Looks like my il2 world will be conquered.

Well, it is strange how nobody dared to import Hanebu into Il-2 skies yet. I hope this saucer will be some kind of breakthrough in this regard.
just imagine, boom'n'zooming these with your Mustang =]

Well, 1+++ to that!

I'm intending to make a German skin for this; should be close enough? It's getting to the point where we need a Wolfenstein map. As for the secret base Cloyd, surely not very secret now you've told us all about it  :P

Nearly there:

DM, landing gear animation and raygun sorted. I made my own in the end; I wanted something b-movie-esq. Remaining jobs are clips on the propellers and re-mapping of prop textures, plus some skins and a bit of FM work.
There is one issue, in that when you start on the runway, the aircraft fires itself into the air. I've been searching for a solution for while now; it looks as though the saucer will otherwise be complete before I solve this, so I may release anyway with a promise-to-fix later on.

Is it possible, just for fun, to put S3's Yak-36 FM into this saucer as a variant? I absolutely understand and respect decision to use autogyro flight model, but possibility to hover and abduct cows is oh so tempting =]
