Hello,

I have a simple straightforward idea to help clarify greatly which mod goes on which official patch (and, more importantly, when NOT to install it).
Namely, if a mod is intended for, let's say, 4.10 and 4.11, but unnecessary or in conflict with 4.12, then it would be good to add a crossed-out 4.12 icon next to regular 4.10 and 4.11 icons.

This would reduce confusion and need to answer these type of questions for each existing mod separately.

sure, but we simply don't have the forum resources for too many icons, for every possible combination, which is ultimately where this will lead to.
we'll see what we can do to improve matters in  future, but for now it is still up to the members to take note, and ask if there is confusion.
as we encounter, the more icons we have, the more people often use the wrong icons, which can lead to even more confusion.
let's try and stick to the k.i.s.s principle, for now
