I wish to join the rebellion

Having just set up a new gaming rig with copious hard drive space, I would like to install and mod a 4.09 version of the game.  :)  I understand it is fairly easy to add new aircraft and other features to 4.09, provided one follows the right procedures (modifying air.ini, etc.).  Though I've never ventured onto the Rebel Base until now, I've been impressed with how quickly new aircraft are being made 4.09 compatible.  By any chance, have the Ju 188 and/or Ju 388 gone through this process?

i have the reverse question for the Ju-388 - i see we have the 409 version available in the aircraft section, but does anyone know what happened to the 4.10/11 version, please? can't seem to find it anywhere....

Much of Mod 409 can be found by using the search tool on the forum with the word : (4.09

i can report that they both work in 4.09 through to 4.12.1 ! ;)

Okay, I've created a copy of 4.09 and I'm now in the (slow) process of downloading UP 2.01.  What other features should I add (SAS ModAct, buttons, Diff FM)?

UP2.01 <===> NO ModAct !

Is there another source for UP 2.01?  This source....

...does not allow downloading of Part 4 (data4/cab). I've tried repeatedly and it always fails. Error message says file cannot be read.

Great, thanks!  I managed to download data4/cab this morning.  At this rate, I will probably have a modded version of 4.09 running tonight or tomorrow.
