In ref to  JETWAR 1.32,  I have same installed, all MiG-21s, MiG-19S,   36S,   PMUs + other jets work fine/smooth  no hiccups,  just a small problem with this one.  So nice to see that someone has no problem.

DBW 1.71
All jets run fine including all Migs even the VTOL.
Do I need to install Jetwar_13_contentPackage.7? Jetwar_132_hotfix.7? If so, do they just drop into DBW folder? Little confused since I believe Jetwar is included in DBW. Not trying to annoy anyone, I know you folks work awfully hard in our behalf and you put up with a lot but any, simple, explanation and guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Mr. gamecrazy911 your file looks ok to me, I just shortened mine to the error areas at the end of file. I use two different versions  of the Log File.  SAS listed log file and Tail.4.3, both point to the same errors.  I removed the F version of the aircraft mod, the D version would load, but have no cockpit or flight, all weapons showed.  Upon entering shift plus tab keys, it showed Java Run Time Errors/Exceptions :
1. Can't open file '3DO/cockpit/F86K/Gauge 86_05_Dam_Msh
2.Warning object '3DO/Cockpit/F86/K/Gauge86_05_Damage Msh of 'skin TL not loaded.
3.Java Run Time Exception: Internal Error Can't load Him 3DO/Cockpit F86K/F-100D.Him

I also tried buttons 9.7, 10.0 and 10.3..same results.  We are in good hands, wait and see.

MarvinT - the missing textures and meshes indicates you don't have JetWar v1.32 installed properly ;)

Sorry for quoting your quote (posting from tablet with limited editing abilities). You error clearly shows you don't have JetWar v1.32 properly installed. The hotfix patching v1.3 to 1.32 is available in the jetwar thread.

DBW 1.71
All jets run fine including all Migs even the VTOL.
Do I need to install Jetwar_13_contentPackage.7? Jetwar_132_hotfix.7? If so, do they just drop into DBW folder? Little confused since I believe Jetwar is included in DBW. Not trying to annoy anyone, I know you folks work awfully hard in our behalf and you put up with a lot but any, simple, explanation and guidance would be greatly appreciated.


Yep grab the hotfix. I know it is confusing, as we are trying to transition things between game versions and messages have been mixed. I have adjusted the instructions so it now does clearly say in the download instructions for this mod to use JetWar v1.32 (release this year). The Jetwar in DBW1.71 is now ancient ;)

The reason this bug with the cockpit even exists is because in JetWar v1.2 there were errors with the damage textures. For v1.3 they were fixed however they were enabled by default regardless of damage. The v1.32 hotfix corrects this as well as adding in some previously missing meshes. I based the F-100 redux pack off this updated cockpit and hence why it requests meshes that aren't part of v1.2 and v1.3.

Same problem (I think). Use DBW 1.71 and only work in AI on a map QMB. I have not tried in other game modes but I guess it will be the same...  :(

Sorry for my ignorance (and my bad english) but I do work other planes like mig 21, Yak 36... Prefer not to install 1.32 jetwar until included in a future DBW (1.32 installation is poorly explained to DBW, I think)

Page one of WHAT explains where to put the hotfix? I've been looking but don't see any specific instructions and I've tried everything I know.

Same basic issue: DBW, everything working from Mig21's to VTOL but no joy with the new F100's (no cockpit). Thought I had the latest Jetwar but obviously not. But I'm confused as to exactly where the hotfix goes.

I love the look of the new planes and appreciate the help as always!
