For what it's worth: duffys tavern

I so far have used the DBW 1.71 (The Jet Era v1.2) and the "F & F-100D Super Sabre Pack v1.0" (The Jet Era v1.32)

I simply changed the folder name "SAS_SFS" (included in The Jet Era v1.32)  to  "SAS_DBW", overwrite,  and lines .Rc so:

@ sfs MOUNT SAS_DBW/sasamt_jetwar_01.sfs
@ sfs MOUNT SAS_DBW/sasamt_jetwar_02.sfs

and solved the problem of not-cockpit

First of all many thanks for this beauty and for that magnificent two seater. It is another of the crown jewels of the JW and superb craftmanship of the makers.

And now, lets clarify something. While Anto is absolutely right; 4.101+DBW1.71+JW1.32+buttons1.1+ and no pit means JW is not installed correctly,
it is so that seemingly most of the people do not understand that install instructions, especially if not good speakers and computer ignorant. Myself and I have also spent a day
without that cockpit, because, I never bothered editing that .rc file, and until now everything worked. And, with all the mods I run already, JW1.3 mentioned it for the first time as I remember...

So; you have to edit the .rc file, to find in your DBW/STD folder, and it has to give the location of the two .sfs archives so that the game can use it. For 4.101+DBW1.71+JW1.32+buttons1.1 (or above).
Thats all, then it does wonderfully and everybody is happy.

Thanks again, fly well  :)

Let me first say that I am most impressed with the new FM and variant: can't wait to fly Misty FAC!

My only complaint is that all of my Mk-82s on all of my aircraft have been converted to "daisy-cutter" bombs. Is this a bug or just a mistake on my part?

Either way, thank you for your continued high-caliber work in this great sim!

i must say, most of these cockpit errors seem to be due to the same issue mentioned by Anto earlier, and that is that you guys have not updated Jetwar to 1.32 version.
at least, that's what the errors seem to indicate....
@ Draken, you asked about the F9F Panther cockpit - well, let's see what Anto says, but my guess is that it is unlikely to happen.
these cockpit issues should not be happening at all if everyone has the correct Jetwar 1.32 update, and i don't see the entire mod being re-written just to cater for those who don't have the correct pre-requirements.
as mentioned, this mod relies largely on that. to ask for another cockpit to be used would require a massive rework by the modders, as opposed to users simply ensuring they have the correct pre-requisites in place, as those are all readily available.
as noted, this has been tested on a DBW/Modact game versions, so to expect the mod to be re-written because you are using a different install, is hugely unfair.

I try to use the F-100 in HSFX 6.0.17 WITHOUT Jetwar , because Jetwar is not compatible with HSFX 6 .
I think that the F-100 would be flyable with a Panther cockpit .

( Beside that, the plane works fine in my 4.10.1 +Modact 3.06 + Jetwar 1.32 install  :) )

Absolutely Marvellous! :) Thanks guys! Only prob  :(,I have an unusual one I,m on #DBW with 3.06 and latest buttons etc the AI F-100F Shows up and works perfect in as AI, but nothing I do will persuade the player versions to appear? I even tried putting my original old "Working" F-100D version in the  D:\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\#DBW\000_F100D\3do\Plane but no go, I still just get a picture of empty scenery ??? like when you forget to tick a player plane in full mission builder.
All planes show up in Quick mission and full missions you can even re skin them! but no show for player control?
Please don't ignore I,m sure others will have the same or similar problem? ive managed to put every other jet in without issue :P until this version arrived THX in Advance

Fuck guys. If you have the no cockpit problem, install JetWar v1.32. Thought that was made clear in our replies to your bugs. If you don't want to, then you will have to wait a while (could be a few weeks) until I have the free time to extract the F-86k cockpit and upload a standalone version.

So it will honestly be quicker to update Jetwar. And there is no reason why you cant run the latest version over DBW. Many people do with no trouble. Some people even have it working on HSFX without issues.

I apologise for being rude but it really frustrates me when a clear answer is given yet people choose not to follow it.

Thanks Anton but if it was so easy and so clear we wouldn't ask in the first place! ;)
This is first jet ive seen this much hassle over,  ???not willing to lose everything and have to start all over again just because this one has cause over 51 questions and replies :o etc. Doesn't mean we, (me and my friends sitting here on a 4 way setup home IL2 Jetwar network etc) don't really appreciate all the work/answers you've given. We really REALLY DO!
.
Please bear in mind were not all IL2 Scientists. can't wait for a simple stand alone :( probably could have made that in the time you've spent answering all the questions because of it? ???

(Beware of premature Ejections!) :-X

No problem Anton but what is confusing me is that I have all that is required and even reinstalled jetwar v1.32 into my DBW 1.71 install that shows the folder for the f-86k pit and still have no cockpit.

Have you by any chance forgotten to add the sfs related lines in your STD/Rc file?
@sfs MOUNT SAS_SFS/sasamt_jetwar_01.sfs
