I play with DBW and full monty but for the F-100D as F-100K I can't sit in the cockpit

You don't have the latest JetWar installed or it is installed incorrectly. This aircraft is using the Jetwar v1.32 F-86K cockpit as a stand-in. If you aren't running the latest version, it simply won't work.

Magnificent planes! Will be a joy to fly them!
However: ERROR: HierMeshObj: Can't load HIM 3DO/Cockpit/F-86K/F-100F.him and Cannot load sound preset motor.Klimov_VK-1F (java.lang.Exception: Invalid preset format)
Plane can be seen from exterior and here the sound is OK. Inside: no cockpit - no sound in both versions of F-100.
Can something be done about it?


You have the same error as above. The issue regarding 'KlimovVK-1F' isn't related to this aircraft, but probably a MiG-17F you have loaded into your mission. Both errors confirm you don't have JetWar v1.32 installed properly.

it flies great in HSFX+Modact4, except that pressing bomb release with the daisy cutter detonated the bomb immediately, destroying my aircraft obviously. this does not happen with regular ordinances as far as I can tell. Though I havn't tried all of them. Apologies for no log.file, posting this on the fly from my phone. I'll try to post one later.

Interesting. I know why it might be doing that, but I'm sure I removed the code that potentially caused it (was some new fancy fuse thing I was trying). I'll test tonight and see if I can replicated it.

Greetings, I finally got my log file to work ( LogFile=logFile.Log ) . I have all the above requirements installed,  DBW 1.71, JETWAR 3.2 buttons 10.3, 10.0, engine mod final 2.6.  Mod crashes at 70%.  air.ini correct. Log:

Thanks for this plane !
I tried it in HSFX 6.0.17 + Engine Mods 411 .
The plane can be seen in external view , but it has no cockpit , so it is not flyable .
I think it is due to F-86 cockpit . Could you make a new version of the plane with the F-9F Panther cockpit , I think this one would work in HSFX 6 ,please ?
And in HSFX 6 , there are only Droptanks loadouts .

Same problems as Draken, no cockpit,  DBW 1.71, Jetwar v1.3 and SAS Engine Mod v2.6RC.
Who did the default skin for the F-100F, very good skin ;D

It seems that I have always some problems with mods...  :-\ So I installed the mod and the game loaded like it always does. However when I tried to fly it in QMB, I got a 30% CTD. I was using the instant log so I could get the logfile but I think I have some problems with it. There is no "END LOG SESSION" at the end of my logfile, but this is what I got.

So, I have DWB 1.71 with all requirements stated in the first post. And I don't really know why I dont get the full logfile. I got it before completely fine, but now it's just not working. Any ideas?  ???

 Mr. gamecrazy911 your file looks ok to me, I just shortened mine to the error areas at the end of file. I use two different versions  of the Log File.  SAS listed log file and Tail.4.3, both point to the same errors.  I removed the F version of the aircraft mod, the D version would load, but have no cockpit or flight, all weapons showed.  Upon entering shift plus tab keys, it showed Java Run Time Errors/Exceptions :
1. Can't open file '3DO/cockpit/F86K/Gauge 86_05_Dam_Msh
2.Warning object '3DO/Cockpit/F86/K/Gauge86_05_Damage Msh of 'skin TL not loaded.
3.Java Run Time Exception: Internal Error Can't load Him 3DO/Cockpit F86K/F-100D.Him

I also tried buttons 9.7, 10.0 and 10.3..same results.  We are in good hands, wait and see.

Exceptional work :)! Had no problem installing it. Great new jet engine sound. Love the
AGM-12. It rips up tanks and even sinks ships! Seems it never meets a target it doesn't like, as long as you are pointing at it.

i must say, most of these cockpit errors seem to be due to the same issue mentioned by Anto earlier, and that is that you guys have not updated Jetwar to 1.32 version.
at least, that's what the errors seem to indicate....
@ Draken, you asked about the F9F Panther cockpit - well, let's see what Anto says, but my guess is that it is unlikely to happen.
these cockpit issues should not be happening at all if everyone has the correct Jetwar 1.32 update, and i don't see the entire mod being re-written just to cater for those who don't have the correct pre-requirements.
as mentioned, this mod relies largely on that. to ask for another cockpit to be used would require a massive rework by the modders, as opposed to users simply ensuring they have the correct pre-requisites in place, as those are all readily available.
as noted, this has been tested on a DBW/Modact game versions, so to expect the mod to be re-written because you are using a different install, is hugely unfair.

The F-100 has the same requirements as the M1G-21 and the YAK-36,  Jet Era v1.3, SAS Engine Mod v2.6RC, so if I have no problem with them, what can it be.

thanks for the advise! I am going to reinstall Jet War 1.32 over DBW 1.71 and we will see how things turn out.
