Need an advice on "transform.bat"
« on: October 04, 2013, 02:00:18 AM »

While following the KevinP's tutorial on making new map, it requires to use the "transform.bat" and the "dissect.bat" files contained in its tutorial to properly elaborate the map_c file, but they don't work: when clicked (in presence of a black/white tif image, 2720x1472 pixels) they don't create any new files (for an instant appears a DOS windows but it's all)
I run windows 8.
I checked the "original" image size and its dimensions are multiple of 32.
Any advice?
Thanks

Convert BW image into tga format, by GIMP.

Uzin, it's already a .tga image (my mistake to write .tif image); I've tried to rename it "MYmap_c.tga" or "Mymap.tga", still no way

Try this

https://www.mediafire.com/download/3wdgrdc2oa9bawd/map_c_tools.7z

it works for me flawlessly at winXP.
Do not forget to place your file Mymap_c.tga into the same folder as this pgm.
Mymap_c.tga must not be RLE compressed ! Uncheck this possibility !
