Legendary Mig-21 was extensively used in Soviet - Afghanistan war. Initially deployed as interceptor in case of escalation of conflict (attacks from neighboring countries, as well as beginning of all-out war with United States were considered as plausible) later it was used only for ground attack and reconnaissance with varying degrees of success. Most numerous variant was Mig-21Bis, carrying wide range of bombs and unguided rockets. Mig-21PFM was mainly used by Afhgan government and several escadrilles from Uzbekistan, yet this type was soon replaced because of poor air-to-ground performance due to outdated and inflexible type of avionics. Mig-21R was often used for reconnaissance by Soviets, several other types of this aircraft, such as Mig-21SM, also were occasionally deployed.


Here I have tried to represent wide range of Mig-21 variants, camouflages and patterns. This pack contains 4 Mig-21PFM skins, 7 Mig-21Bis skins and one Mig-21Bis with Mig-21R paint scheme.

Thank you very much ! Very nice skins. But isn't there a mistake on the tails' Red Stars of some PFM ? On one side, they are upside down, no ?
