Hello, yesterday I reported I got a problem with these campaign and mods, that was the assumed misplacement of spawning point for Bf109T's on ship's deck, of the
Graf Zeppelin carrier. I thought it concerned an oversight by the ship's author, instead after looking up, both ship and aircraft had no errors, meshes were correct, wasn't related to other files nor loadouts, nor incompatibility with DBW which this campaign was made for. I tried to create my mission with these assets, and all aircrafts spawned without problems, all aside without crashes and above water level of course, on the same map, with working tailhooks.
The issue so must be a mistake of the mission creator, in fact only the first mission (for me at least) is bugged, all aircrafts explode as you spawn
regardless of what loadout you have, as I've read often. My log reads alot of missing textures and buildings but nothing relevant, also the explosion wasn't caused by spawning down inside the hull like it seemed. Other players got this in the first mission, if anyone here knows DBW and can tell what the author forgot or did wrong, please tell...my advice for who gets these crashes and sudden blasts whenever he spawns on this ship, is to pick the full mission editor and fix the errors made by its author...as I'll probably do.
UPDATE: Alright I managed to start the mission without explosions and the all aircrafts on deck...what I did was deleting all files in my
i18n modded folder inside
STD folder, except
plane.properties and
weapons.properties and removing all the mod options from my
config.ini, I don'cc know why, the game ran fine and kept all the contents without bugs...however there's another problem now. While planes spawn right on Graf Zeppelin, as soon as they taxi and prepare to take off, so did I,
all get stuck at deck's height and start slipping backwards...as the ship moves forward under their wheels, so frozen in the air while the ship goes away...unless there is some aircraft parked on the stern, that's where they will eventually collide each other. This happens
both with and without catapults enabled, and once frozen the aircrafts stay there forever even with autopilot on, and oddly enough I can't switch view anymore.
How could I take off from the Graf Zeppelin without hassle?
UPDATE #2: So, I resumed testing as soon as possible...this mistery case of
Graf Zeppelin is really daftening me, but I found the problem. As I written you before, the aircraft must be cause, and it was indeed. No matter what buttons version I put in(one at a time), the flight model appears to be bugged. This is tricky. The planes don't slip backwards, but it seems like
the Bf109T used for this mod has the throttle capped at 80%...Yes, whenever I or the AI (that's why the get all stuck at once) push the throttle above 80%, either on a carrier's deck or the ground whatever the actual speed is, the plane suddenly stops and often, but not always, only shutting down the engine can unfreeze it...I don't know, this looks to me like a wierd glitch since you can't take off without full throttle, especially from carriers. The log has no relevant errors except, well...these::

I will contact the authors, meanwhile if someone could correct or remake a fine Bf109T, would be nice to know.
