well, mabye F-4 (but it is a bit... kinda... strange... :D ) or if somebody is doing Tu-104 civil-aircraft. And right now I'm doing some theoretical counts to get more realistic aerodynamic drag at trans and hypersonic speeds. It looks, like it would work right.

I will upload the material as soon as possible - tomorow 16:00 GMT++

So, the equations.
Into the formula for subsonic drag you add instead of v*v:
Quote
For M=1-
v*v
Quote
For M>0,96 && M<1
v³-(0,96*c)³+(0,96*s)²
Quote
For M=1+
(s³-(0,96*s)³+(0,96*s)²)+(v-s)³
, where
v...actual speed
s...actual speed of sound (depends on air pressure and the °C's)

But I'm not, if I did it right :D so, if somebody would mind revising it a bit...

I wish for finishing this project once (and I would like to join the team, anybody else?).

I would personally like MiG-23 variants more than the MiG-25 :P

Me too !

The Foxbat/Foxhound are my favourite jet planes, period, but in il2, it would be quite useless, as there is no supersonic bomber to down, no supersonic spyjet, and nothing that has near the speed of the Foxbat. It will have an horribly lonely life in this game !

I would use it to dogfight phantoms!  ;D

Exam? Something difficult?
BTW, let's make up the team. We'll need somebody with 3D editor (It might be me, but 3D mode in AutoCAD was a bit difficult), than somebody for programing the plane itself (movements of parts), than FM modeler and finaly somebody for textures. The final goal - MiG-23, MiG-25, Tu-104. But what we have to do first is to gather kinda big bag of informations. :p

i could give modeling a shot but it might take me a lot of time to learn it all, not to mention my awesome aircraft related education wich takes quite some time of my free time, but why not!

So, let's add it into WIP? (you know, I'm new to moding, so I dunno the rulers and how exactly do the mod, but others know :) )

lets first make something to show it as a WiP

as for the poll, every aircraft will be made
it only determines the sequence in wich we make it
