this patch comes with one file to replace: files.sfs
and a readme:

I keep a copy of 4.12.1 on the external drive so the patch will be ok in that but is it ok to add it to my 4.12.1 with SAS Modact 5,22?

I just installed the Files.sfs into a Clean HSFX 7.0 and all is working. Maybe Charlie will have a 7.0 Bug Fix Patch soon. ;)

I would also like to know if 4.12.2 is compatible with SAS Modact 5.22? Or would installing this on top of Modact 5.22 cause problems?

Yes and no.
It will do no harm but it won't work online since Modact 5.22 would let your game look like 4.12.1m to online servers.
To be on the safe side, please wait until SAS Modact 5.30 is available.
We're currently working on it, won't take long until you can grab it.
