Well Gord knows what I did? but I re-installed from the start and now it runs like a dream!! big thanks to everyone for the increable work put into this, the skins are great, the map stunning, and the missons ( well less said about that the better) ive only done two so far and screenshots of me in a burning wreck on the ground is not something to be posted...I will get round to posting some nicer shots, honest! many thanks Boelcke...Gary

Taxman, Taxman, Taxman ... you´re such a seasoned Il2 user but you didn´t read the isntall instructions till the end ... just kidding always good to see some of the well known old names :)

check the Il2 root folder for the dgen_mod.ini file and add this line into it:

Language=English

and it should work.

My dgen_mod.ini loks like this:

AirIntensity=Medium
GroundIntensity=Medium

Hi Boelcke,
I already changed the Language=English.  My problem might be that I am using 4.12.2m HSFXv7.01.

The mission fly just fine, all the speech is in English.  Here is an example of what I am talking about:  when the first screen comes up-Pilot Career-*P_38F1LO MRO_Tunis, 20 "Russian"1943-Rank, Awards, Completed, Difficulty are all in "English".
Going to Brief mission description is in "Russian" as well as Debrief.  Click on Roster-Rank, Name, Sorties, Over Kills are in "English".  Click on Squadron Docs, all in "Russian". I also loaded into FMB same result.

Any help?

check the \DGEN folder and search for all *message*_ru.* (important is the _ru extension) files and move them out of the \DGEN folder into a \temp folder and check if the language has changed in the game when starting a new campaign

If you have installed the MTO campaign, please download these files and copy them into the \DGEN\MOD folder overwriting the old ones, it´s absolutely important

Also, is it possible to leverage 4.12.2's new AI taxi/spawn point features in these custom dgen campaigns?

 Lol.. I had exactly same experience.. followed all the instructions to the letter, same result as you, then did it again, and bingo! All's well! :)
