Rain/snow in Il-2 maps
« on: November 03, 2013, 07:07:45 PM »

Today i have made a test with some map files with the map parameters (declin, month, camouflage, etc.). I figured out that what determines if precipitation will be a rain or snow isn't camouflage, declin or temperature (what make sense to me), but only the month parameter, and this works only based on north hemisphere seasons.

I was so frustrated when i discover that a map with -1 declin for example, a equatorial area in the south hemisphere, will get snowfall in the december, when in south hemisphere is summer, even if temperature is 30 degrees celsius.

It's another way to control snow/rain that i have forgot?
