any friction mod compatible with 4.12?
« on: November 03, 2013, 10:21:04 PM »

I just installed the Revisited NWEurope map. The grass airfields are a little too bumpy for any successful take off. Tried zuti's friction mod, but its incompatible with 4.12. Anyone know of a compatible friction mod out there? Thanks be to anyone who can help me with this!

There are two versions of Zutis friction mod, one for 4.09 and the second for 4.10 version of Il2.
Perhaps you can try that for 4.09 version ?

For 4.09:

For 4.10:

Hi: I just moved my old maps from DBW to  4.12 and I'm having the same problem in many of them (Lybia "JV69", Slovenia, el Alamein, war over Italy) . I think it's because they use Zuti's friction mod. I tried to fix it by adding "home base" objects and changing friction value in FMB, but it didn't work. Landing a bf-109 in these maps is impossible

I think both 4.09 and 4.10 friction mod versions are incompatible with 4.12... but, in the other hand, I just read that this mod is included in SAS 2.7 engine mod for 4.12 (that I have installed)

(4.12.2 + ModAct 5.30 +  2.7 sas engine mod)
