In the top pic, it looks a bit like a liberator.

I always thought North American modified the design by changing nose and tail, losing the 20mm, better defensive armament, and better engines. You have a B-25 Mitchell.

Had to rework aircraft to get flaps, bomb bay doors, and landing gear doors to look right. Smoothed out look, also.

A few more pics. I think I have gone as far as I can go with my limited skill set. Having problems with glass and transparency not wanting to work with my 2.7 Blender. Any suggestions?

Don't trouble yourself with glass and transparency - just assign for these parts a material called "glass" or "glass2" and after exporting copy the required glass.mat (or glass2.mat) and its associated tga file from another mod folder.
Il2 manages transparency somehow differently from 3D programs, in a simpler way.

Nice, I was working on a Franken version of this plane (I can fly it in my game, but still a lot to do with the cockpitfiles - also taken from other planes) but now I know you're making this one I think I can use time I did want to spent on the T-V instead on also learning to work with 3D. Besides this T-V I also made a Franken Fokker D-23. Their maps are both still a bit a mess so I have to clean up a bit, but if some of you want it just for fun i can try to upload them somewhere (mediafire or so) and ask people here that i can start a topic in the franken or the WIP section.

Wel, I did not had the time to clean up (although I did had some time to create a cockpi for the nosegunner and activate it) but here is an image of my Franken Fokker TV. Maybe I should uplaoad it to mediafire and try to get it in the Franken section as a gap filler untill you finnished this project. Your 3d model is much better!

I am putting this project on hold for a few. I am concentrating on my DXXIII. It has fewer workings and when I have that figured out; the TV will not be that far behind.
Thank you, everyone, for your kind words and encouragement.
