Hello again Eugene just a little further clarification for the benefit of anyone reading about your problems. ;)

The B-24D from Riken was I think actually released for 4.10 but was later updated by I think Stephen_SG for 4.12, the issue you mention
about the odd no wheels is not the stationary but the aircraft itself, maybe you need that 4.12 update. :-|

The stationary merely reflects what is in the aircraft folder as far as I know, the exception is a seaplane where the aircraft is higher than
the water, that is a FM issue. 

No idea what the issue with the Baron not showing is, it has happened before but it is extremely rare. o_O


For the staionary it is also necessary to change the technics entry as well, so new:

Super-Electra     vehicles.planes.Plane$Electra14   1

And:

thanks again for the assist, Pete :D
i eventually managed to get the Super-Electra to show up by using the original entries, the 'Lockheed_Electra14' named one, as opposed to the 'Electra14' name, thanks to your help.
i'm trying to create 'civil' looking airbase, and we have so few planes that can pass for civilian, which is why i really wanted these....
no luck with the other problem kids yet, but still working on it.... will keep you posted on how it goes....
i think i know what the problem with the B24 might be, so that really just leaves the Baron.
no train-smash here, either - it may be a little more work, but i could always just use the actual plane with some taxi points set, and a several hour starting delay, lol, so it'll just sit there all mission long ;)

Good to know you are getting there Eugene. 8)

The Baron is one of three aircraft I could not get working as stationaries, the others were the Franken Tu-16 and the old Jet Bomber mod, although at one time Epervier did have the Jet Bomber as a SSP I think. o_O

The statics rely on the air entries and if the aircraft shows in game then you would think their stationary would also. :o

Anyway, the work around you are going to try should do the trick.

oh, it does. :D
when 4.12 patch was first released, i thought to myself 'cool, we don't actually even need stationaries anymore, strictly speaking, as we can now just set regular planes to be sitting parked wherever we like' and started using this technique with great success.
of course, like most things, it has its up and down sides....
the up side is being able to set a realistic looking airfield, and if you are attacking the airfield, it's way more immersive to be shooting at planes that take visible damage, break up, etc - as opposed to the 'statics' which all just 'die' in exactly the same way...
the downside, of course, is that it's just a little more involved in setting them up initially, as you need to set a few waypoints, start delay and such.
a mix of the two works really well - so, several regular satationaries set up, interspersed with the odd 'real' plane, and the results can also be pretty darn impressive, again, if you are shooting/bombing them all to bits :D

That definately sounds more immersive than the usual static destruction. 8)

I took a look inside the Barons classes and it is strange, the mother class and the Baron class both have entries that would allow it show in game but each relies on a different plane folder, Baron58 with the name as Baron_58 when really the mother class does not need that information as it usualy resides in the actual plane class as do the armament options.  I found I could rename the air.ini entry to Baron_58 and it worked but whatever I did the static would not show on a map. o_O

It is confused and needs councelling me thinks, come to that so am I and I need councelling and probably a lot of beer as well. :D

Tomorrow I will experiment. ;)

There's no JU_87B1 in your pack, is it available somewhere else perhaps?

Also there are no entry in technics.ini for the Bf-110C-1, is that not needed?

Hello vonOben, I do not have a  JU_87B1 in my game that is why it is not included in the stationary mod, if you can provide a link I will test it and see if it functions in my 4.12 install. ;)


The Bf-110C-1 entries can be found in the stationary and technics files I put in the 'My entries' folder, please note the spelling:
