From the funny small glitches series (these are extremely rare, I must admit).

Levitation exercise after crash-landing:

(No, it's not a snapshot, the plane was 'solidly' levitating after it came to a stillstand.)

The dead gunner strikes back:

(The gunner was shot dead several seconds earlier and his body fell to the floor accordingly. His ghost, however, returned to the gun and damaged my Yak so that I had to RTB.)

First they got Skylla (who manned the gunner seat), then finally they got me to smash my kite into the ground:

Kind of puzzled, two times I gotten lost in my supply route and overheated my engine in the prosess one of the times . It is years since I have expirienced problems like that. Does anyone knows if there have been added random engine failure . I never ever overheated a PE 2 before, in wintertime with rads fully open, I forgot to reduce them

Depends on which one. Series 87: Agreed. Series 35: Different story.
With it's slow governor, the Series 35 easily overheats in a dive if you don't throttle back or reset your RPM's in time (the latter must be done a minute before, since the governor's reaction speed is beyond imagination).

Blaubär from my POV. Note that I have depleted all my AP ammo so I wasn't in the right shape for a fight anymore. Not that much of a problem as Blaubär was on my side, nevertheless... we're called "Clowns" for a reason so when I saw him turning his turret towards me, I carefully asked "you don't want to... no?"

Why that? It's been funny like hell!
See my Tank disintegrate from Blaubär's "coup de grâce" here, note the Turret which got ripped off and fell to the side:

well, yesterday I've been working a bit on our server mission again and came across a hangar with two open ends .. it came as it had to .. barnstorming time!

Flying through a wide open hangar looks quite nice, but is pretty boring .. so I decided to do it in a Bf-110 and also put a He-111 into the hangar as obstacle. Everything else would be boring, right?

Looks good, huh? Nevertheless, time to step things up a bit. You guessed it, we're going to do it inverted this time 8)

hmm, seems like we came in a tad too close to something there ..
But don't panic, we're still quite fast (otherwise this stunt wouldn't be possible at all), so there's enough energy for a short climb and a turn ...

.. and a three point landing. Emergency or not, this has to look good!

Last, get off the runway to park. Blocking traffic is rather rude, after all.
Overall I would call this sortie a success. We got a few nice shots and can even use the plane again. Just the props and the gunner's underpants need to be discarded ;)

Best Regards,
skylla
