From my first mission I have made. It's just a practice mission for the P-40. Take off and landing but I also put an enemy ship in for anti shipping fun.

Learning to make tank missions now. Once you have the feel for the Mission Editor, it's not bad.

Thanks. I'm trying to get the tanks to move in columns but having a hard time with it. Setting waypoint, timers, command formations and such. It's only my third or fourth day but I feel like I'm starting to understand it a little.

Some keys to formation handling:
  • Formation and Spawner is mutually exclusive.
    Don't ever attempt to spawn a formation.
  • Before issuing a formation command, make sure that the formation is moving.
    Let them move to the first waypoint for a second or two, and then issue the formation command.
  • Take care of the order of planes/vehicles in the formation. Each formation member has a zero-based #index denoting it's position inside the formation.

The information in the Mission Editor Manual page 74 "Managing Object Formations" is quite comprehensive.
