I had some interesting experiences...

Highlights:

De-wing kill 0:44

One-shot death 10:43

Lost the canopy, pilot wounded 18:03

Lost a wing tip 18:24

Interesting landing 21:00

Two glorious overkills, starting from 28:30 and 30:20

It can only get better from here... :)

There are problems with it. I love the smootness in tracker but others hate it. They have made the controls for full length and that is why I love it, since that is what I got. But for those who don't, they tend to be too fast

i was fortunate enough to be able to take the game for a spin, and although its obviously still early days, what i've seen so far is truly impressive.
definitely a contender for a worthy successor to IL-2 :D
a few screens, done before i could figure out how to get rid of icons, etc, so please excuse that.
the maps, atmospherics, etc are truly great. the combat sim future looks bright with this one!
definitely something to look forward to  8)

The game looks really nice, I hope that this is a beginning of a longer series.
I hope that they plan to invole the community at least in map/object/texture creation...modding would make this series more popular. Btw will there be a summer map?

Btw will there be a summer map?

Questions by member, answers by Loft about other maps in the Dev Updates:

Q:Will made other maps (smaller) for online except map of Stalingrad?

A:We hope that we will have enough time to do them. Or you can make them.

Q:For lovers of aerobatic aircraft were added pylons in the latest patch for CloD. Can we expect something similar in the BoS (map for racing / flags / pylons / visual platform etc.)?

A:Only if you make it yourself. We'll give you all the necessary tools and information.

Q:Whether you considered opportunity to make the map of Gulf of Finland in the future, as in "IL-2"?

A:It's almost standard issue. I'll no longer respond to such questions, because the answer is always the same. About the future we need to talk in the future. Of course, we dream to make all theaters for all the wars in which the aircraft used. But after the dream work starting and we're working to make this future a reality. It is a matter of probability.

Q:Do you plan to allow adding additional user made maps for dogfight like it's done in ROF?

A:Technically it is possible. We only need to have creators who can provide us (and you) with such maps. We can't pay much attention to them being really busy with the development, but we hope that won't stop map-makers. Will such map become a free gift or a content pack for sale - the authors and the quality of their products are going to determine that.

--------------------------------------------

My personal conclusion is we won't see a summer map for a long time.
Just white areas with bare trees, snow covered houses and winter cammo.
