I have tried to get that "bug" when panning in FMB, with the same character and armchair but to no avail, no matter the altitude and/or POV (GTX260), the pilot never disappeared ...

So I wonder if this is due to a game limitation like GJE52 suggests ...

Perhaps just spreading them out a bit?  It seems to happen when they are bunched up.  I tried it with 3 of my USAAF officers standing together and at one angle one of them disappeared completely but at another angle everything was OK.  Weird.

... silly me ...!!  :-[

I tried with only one character seated in the armchair ... :D

Will try with several, and bunched up, tomorrow ...   ;)

I made several tests with different settings in confini.
It is a scene so there are several objects: people, vehicles, objects.
Some vehicles have the shadow on the ground.
Disparraissent characters. Not always the same.
Depending on the angle of vision is partially correct but never the correct set.
No problem with the scale, bench, trap doors, signs, speaker ...

... I managed to get the bug with several characters bunched together, according to the angle, I got for ex the white armchair partialy or even totally disappear, or the wheels from the solder cart and one green bottle disappear too ...

One thing probably related to that "bug" is that the more I put characters and objects close together, the slowlier my mouse cursor gets ...

I had already noticed that while populating bases with static objects and AC, so this seems to confirm what GJE52 said about the game engine not liking to display too many TGAs at the same place ...  ;)

J'ai un "template" pour une mission qui comporte 5300 objets "standards".
Je n'ai aucun problème avec cette mission...

It could be the number of polys/faces.  As a noob modder I've tried to keep those numbers down but perhaps there's enough to cause visual issues? :-X

Gabriel, will you please upload this mission via attachment?
I want to try if my PC can handle something like this.  :)

Ok !
5243 objects + 15 convoys.

This is not my creation. It is several templates that I found there very long on the M4T site.
I simply consolidate the various templates in one.
I think there are several authors ... CrashBangWallop / lowfighter / ... sorry for those that I forget!
