Game crashes when i fire HVAR rockets

Hey guys, not sure if i'm posting in the right area here.
When I play a game it works fine up to the point I fire any HVAR rockets.
It then CTD, not sure why, but I have a feeling I may have downloaded a smoke mod at some stage.
Any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated

hi mate
let's just make sure you are posting in the right place or not, lol.
first, what game/mod version are you running, firstly?
second, you'll need to check the error log - post the last part of it up for us to have a look at, if you don't see the problem.
if, as it sounds, it's a missing effect, it should be mentioned in the error log.

you will also need the InstantLog mod installed, although this would also be dependant on which game version you are using - which takes us back to the first part. :D

just try and paste in say the last 1/4 part of the error log - usually some relevant errors are there.

But I can not interpret with certainty.
I think you use a new aircraft (P-51/F-51) who has weapons (rockets) are not compatible with the 409!
Can you give me more information on the plane pose these problems?

here you can see it can't find/load an effects file, and a 3do mesh file, it seems
as your game is crashing due to an effect, this is surely the culprit.
you'll need to check for those missing mat/3do files - i can't think offhand where they might be, don't really use my 409 install that much lately.  ;)
