Thanks for your reply.
Tried to get HD mod using your link ,but it takes me
back to the main menu, for sas, Not sure where this HD mod download lives.
Read through all postings others have had this problem but don't say exactly
how the solved the pink problem.

It is looking like the problem around video card / video driver / video settings in conf.ini .

Ok I will backtrack on my latest drivers for my GTX760 NVidia card, (I think windows downloaded
one about 3 weeks ago.)
Not sure what I will need to change in Config .ini settings --Strange it has only effected
these Jets (Su-25 and F-105)

Stan,

a quick one before I go to bed:
I assume it is best to download drivers yourself and not let Windows change GFDX drivers with every new version it finds. The latest is not always the gratest and drivers should be installed the proper way:
Uninstall the previous completely then do a new install..
Maybe check teh Tech help forum for NVidia driver info or post there as well.

Are you usre you have the high res mod installed correctl?

I will not respond here (lot of RL stuff) but that might be worth checking again...if you have an HD mod and no HD files installed, it will not work.

This error may point that texture buffer setting value is too small for using big HD textures.
Or you've failed to install HD texture MOD and it still doesn't work.
Please read again the install instruction text in the release topic of HD / Full color MOD.

Your error is not typical on Su-25 or F-105.
Other mods using HD textures --- like F-16 , F/A-18 and AV-8B+ , karla's CVA , HMS Eagle --- maybe the same.
When your error won't solve after read and follow the text in HD / Full color texture MOD, I think you are better to make a new topic in Hardware section with your full error log and conf.ini , linking this topic , instead of continuing here.
I'm not a hardware / conf.ini setting master, so I cannot advise you in better words.

Thanks for your help, I have now solved it
I had used a copy of IL2 1946 from the steam download because it was updated to 4.12 and not my IL2 1946 disc
and installed JETWAR1956 into that copy.
My graphics card and config.ini where both fine and not the problem.
It was the il2_corep4.dll and the il2_core.dll on my steam version.
I replaced them with copy's from CUP and graphics now are as they should be.
I'm leaning something new every day about modding ( trial and error with back ups)
Somewhere I had read that il2_corep4.dll can cause problems ,so I took a chance and every thing worked out

I had the same problem as you before, the sounds are used in the L-39 pack, you should be able to find that in the jet section. Install that and hopefully it'll fix your problems.
