It looks beautiful!
Thank you so much Damawo, I must install it and give a closer look at it.

Ise's catapults was directed to aft to open the field of fire for #3-4 turret when  battle of cape Engano.
My model expresses this situation.
It is understood. But, it may be wise to turn the catapult along the boards, at least for the version that you called 'firing situation'. Then start from catapults will look more natural, do not you think?

Hmm? I think what you want is normal version that catapults directed to forward.
The version I release now is firing situation.

I added spot-able function for observer's eye of F2 key and test for plane Deck.
I didn't intend launching function in this time.

Please wait progress of my works!

The Japanese navy had the most sexy ships of all in ww2. Thank you very much for this playmate Damawo! She is a beauty  :)

And what if idea - Can catapult be alligned to main guns ? I.e. directed to forward and turn to the side when main guns start to move ? Could it be done ?

Hi BP_dFrog.
I also thought about editing java file.
We will be able to add the turning catapult function.
(It will be same as aft canopy's turning function of D4Y2.)
But it would need mod of catapult mod if I use catapult function.
The decision about java code will be done at the final stage of Ise's mod.

How do you get the plane take off from the deck? The plane spawns on the deck facing forward and I don't think you could take off when you are facing that direction.

Do you have this installed?

A little progress at this time.
The issue about shadow on the flight deck was solved.

This problem was caused by position of shadow receiver's local center.
I think the center need to be near vertexes of receiver's mesh like left image.

ShwRcv*.msh needs to be slightly higher than the Lod0 for the deck otherwise the shadow will be hidden by the deck surface. ShwRcv*.msh must be a single plane. If a curved surface, like end of flight deck on HMS Eagle, then the shadow mesh must be split into separate planes for each part of the curve.
Pivot axes for the shadow mesh must be aligned normal to the surface, not aligned to the world.
