i won't accept it unless it's gold-plated, lol
about the lighthouse, considering the difficulties we've had with searchlights themselves, i don't see it working the way you'd like.
if we figured out how to expand on the searchlight feature, it would immediately open up a whole new part of things, that i would dearly love to see - ships with working searchlights, planes with searchlights, and so on.
until such time, we will have to settle for an FMB makeshift job.
i have used the lights we already have quite successfully with lighthouses.
you might need to add several lights, if you want the effect to be more visible, but it works pretty well.

Given that there is a flashing light already available in Stationary Objects, wouldn't it just be a matter of increasing the altitude of the light to match the top of an existing lighthouse object?  I think that's what you're implying Malone and it would seem to be the easy solution for now.
