Started a few years ago and slightly recoloured redko's textures to be a bit more reddish, but not excessively.
Somewhere along the line I also added one jet capable airfield and last night I found out I must have added that same field also to the little island north west.

Most important to me: I wanted the random trees back in since in the meantime desert compatible random trees had been fabricated a.o. by Uufflakke and SAS~Boomer.
So I added them back in,
tried to exclude mountains and airfields.
Plus I recoloured the tex again a tad and included in a rework of said airfield and landlight+cloudshad. mat files.
To be able to take off from the jet field:
Added an additional Quick mission named "
MTORedScramble03".
A few Options:
-Some people prefer the DESERT camouflage setting. I wanted to honour redko, so I kept his setting.
You can open the load.ini and change:
[WORLDPOS]
CAMOUFLAGE = SUMMER
...
To
[WORLDPOS]
CAMOUFLAGE = DESERT
Done.

-If you want the random trees and textures changed to appear in
The _Alaska_Man's version of redko's MTO redo, you can use the load.ini from the "MTO" map folder and the textures in the download "...\MAPS\_Tex".
I wanted the version to be rather WWII style, his definately contains more bases with concrete.
-If you do not like the landlight and cloudshadows files I used and the slightly new water colour, you can rename the load.ini to "-load.ini" and name the other one "-default waterlightload.ini" into "load.ini".
-And if you dislike the repaint colours, you can use redko's default "..\_Tex\redko_tex\Lybia" files..back them up, which you should do anyway, and open the load.ini inside my MTO map folder:
Find all mentioned textures and rename them in the following manner
redkolybia98
_fields.tga
to
redkolybia98.tga -without fields.
