Damage of propeller blades
« on: January 05, 2014, 02:51:17 PM »

I would like to suggest a new damage effect. During WW2 had many aircrafts toubles because enemy (fighters, Flak etc.) harm their propeller. However there isnĀ“t such similar effect in Sturmovik till. I add some pictures just for illustration.

Wow, it looks nice. Is any chance to import this effect to Sturmovik? Or is it actually real? :)

  • Landing just means stop flying, right?

I actually found a bit of a glitch that works with the tempest and LaGG-3s, shut the prop off while flying fast and low, about 350 mph, and then just barely tap one of the blades on the ground, then pull up after contact. If you did it right there shouldnt be an engine: inoperable warning, but the prop will be bent back around the cowl. then just restart the engine. It has no effect on the flight model, but it looks funny as hell :D
