It is in the read-me which contains specific instructions for mods, together with all air.ini entries for the 37 new slot planes required. ::)

Please note that the Mohawk IV is already included in UP, HSFX and C6 mods packs.

I have been looking forward to playing this mod fro two weeks now. i am still trying to get all of the pieces I need to play it effectively. I especially want to fly the Hawk 75 against some Wildcats. I'll let you know what I think about it when I get it running. One question though, is it absolutely necessary to have a modded version of the game or can I just manually load hte two flaybale conversions and be okay to play?

Hello showboat1,

There are two versions of this campaigns pack, both of them included in the ultimate edition: for mods and without mods.

If you want to fly the Curtiss H-75 against the Wildcat, you need the modded version, and for that purpose you need a modded game. You do not need a mods pack though: a mod activator with the latest Buttons (as supplied by SAS), plus all the required individual mods listed in the dedicated read-me will do the job; you must read the read-me dedicated to the mods, and you must apply strictly all instructions.

In the modded version, missions involving the Hawk-75 and the Wildcat also involve the Swordfish and other new slot planes, so please make the effort to install all required plane mods. They involve modded maps as well, so please apply the instructions required for them to work.

SPECIAL VARIANT FOR FLYING THE Hawk-75A-3, AND MS 406 WITHOUT NEW SLOT PLANES INSTALLED: if you have a modded game just with the mods activator from SAS, you may try the unmodded version of my campaigns: in that case you may have the opportunity to fly the Hawk-75A-3 against the Wildcats without any mods installed, but at least the game itself must be modded with the mods activator. Please let me know how it works.

When you install the ultimate edition, use JSGME to enable the modded version OR the unmodded version of the campaigns.

Happy flying,

Vincent

Mission loaded crashed because of SeaHurricane 1
IM in the Africa phase of the campaign
I searched my air.ini and I only found this line"SeaHurricaneMkIb  air.SeaHurricaneMkIb 1                NOINFO  gb01  DESERT
                                                                 SeaHurricaneMkIIc air.SeaHurricaneMkIIc 1               NOINFO  gb01  DESERT
The line "SeaHurricaneMkIb air.SEAHURRICANE1 1 NOINFO gb01 DESERT" which is in the intructions folder of the campaign is not in my air.ini.
Where can I find this version of the SeaHurricane
I'm running UP2.1 4.09m all updated and have the latest SAS Buttons
Thanks

Thanks for your reply
I found a Topic in the AAS about this matters, and it looks that this is an old version of the plane made for being installed separately in the MODS folder
My version is already installed in the UP 2.1 and probably , with a different air ini line , in spite of being the same plane.
I tryed just to ad the line in my air ini but it caused a crash at 60%.
I think that the line of the plane has to be changed in the DGen folder , which is the one who create the missions, or the FM attached to this air ini line is missing, but I don't known how to do it.
Best regards

Hello Guys,

My campaigns use this version of the Sea Hurricane because this is - was? - the only one that was available as a stand-alone version... on the AAA site! (see read-me for mods included in the download, with D/L link). Since AAA migrated to AAS... link is dead!

Please find this plane mod here, and then you will be OK.

Happy flying,

Vincent

EDIT: new download link.
