Hi Vtrelut
I was playing your wonderful French 1940-1945 in a UP 2.1 game
Do you know why sometimes a campaign doesnt load and appears a message "null"
It happened twice with me and I cant continue the campaign anymore wich its quite frustrating

I did not make the mods, just the campaigns...

If you have a poblem with the Sea Hurris, I would expect this mod is not properly installed. If properly installed, you should be able to fly them in the QMB. Or there could be a compatibility issue with 4.101m, but that is unlikely.

Please try to locate a file DGenERROR.log at the root folder of the game, there could be an indication at the end of that file telling what happened on your particular campaign.

Sometimes, and this has nothing to do with DGen or any mission/campaign in particular, I noticed during testing that a mission fails to load in game. The only - and simple - solution I found was to wait and reload the mission... usually it works. ;)

Can this campaign played in DBW 1.6 or it may cause any problems?

These campaigns can be played in DBW 1.6 in the standard, unmodded version: there should be no problem to play the basic version with DBW 1.6 (-FrenchWingsNoMods option in JSGME to be activated if you use the Ultimate Edition).

The modded version makes use of certain aircraft mods which are not included in UP 3.0 or DBW 1.6, and may not be compatible with 4.101. Map mods included should be OK.

I intend to update it once the new Dewoitine D-520 rolls out.

DBW 1.6 extensively modded.

Your 'ultimate' French Wings pack works fine. No grief.

Thank you!

Sorry to bother everyone here. But I am new to the mods. I installed SAS mod activator a years ago, but I didn't install much things else beside the IL-2: 1956 pack. A few minutes earlier I downloaded and installed this Franch mod. (I just placed each folder to its respected folder in my game) and try to play it. When I try to load the "From battle of Franch to liberation of Franch", the first thing it happen is that I can not generate the first 3 campaign, probably due to I don't have Hawk-75, and the third campaign probably due to I don't have Libya map. Can anyone teach me how to propriately install this? Thank a lot.

Actually I also tried to edit the air.in with seahurrican as some of people have mentioned. But as soon as  I do that, the game will refuse to load at 70%

You don't miss any map mod, they are included in the campaigns pack. However, you should rename the folder "MODS" to "#SAS", as explained in the SAS mod activator read-me, because SAS mod activator no longer reads the contents of the Files and MODS folders we used before; also you should add the lines required in the all.ini, as explained in the read-me related to mods in my campaigns pack.

Regarding the Sea Hurricane mod, you should also install the mod itself; otherwise if you just edit your air.ini your game won't load.

My suggestion: first get familiar with mods and how they work, read carefully instructions in the various read-me files; in the meantime, please activate the option "-FrenchWingsNoMods" in JSGME, which is included in the Ultimate Edition of my campaigns, and you will be fine.

Happy flying! 8)
