Excellent thanks very much mate, we've needed objects like these since the very begining, the hangers look empty and unused but with work benches, scaffolds etc this can now be addressed.

I like the WAAF but shouldn't she be holding a tray of tea and cookies?....lol!

To all;
One thing I forgot to mention....depending on the hangar object you use the "mechanics" feet may disappear into the floor, same with the toolbox.  Some of the hangars' floors are slightly higher than the ground.  A bit of a pain but if you adjust your mechanics' 'altitude' in your static.ini file you can compensate for that discrepancy, although it will take some trial and error.

If there's something specific you'd like to see I'm open to suggestions, just don't expect a Da Vinci work of art!  LOL.

WIP I'm currently trying;
Pilot/crew figures (bomber/fighter) for the ground
Engine winch/crane
US Staff car (I've bastardized a free 3D car from the net but it's got TONS of polys so it's taking a lot longer than I thought).

Why did you develop your 3do are in the directory, I think it would be better to create a separate folder in the 3do. For example

H:\Program Files (x86)\1C\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\MODS\!!!_USAAFGroundPers\3do\USAAFGroundPers

THESE ARE GREAT! And finally...a female figure in the game! I also like the welder at work. These add so much to the "immersion factor."

Congratulations, Tomoose. You're truly the Grand Poobah of IL-2 set decoration. These little jems of yours really make an airfield the vibrant, interesting place it should be. One of my long-standing feelings was the sterile, people-less impression left by the airfields, cities, and towns in the game.

All that is changing, thanks to you. The flight decks of the carriers have got people, and now the airfields are getting personnel, and personality, and lots of "interesting stuff." It's a field with almost unlimited possibilities. It's all much appreciated. Keep up the great work.
