8) Liking the 3D fix so far.

Might their be any clues to if any bird(s) in the megapack could have Altitude or Tropical Intakes fitted, since they don't even require animation like the DB ones?

According to Fw In Action (ISBN 0-89747-404-X) and mentions in other books tney were installed commonly when mission (i.e; high alt incept' or high alt escort), weather/season & airfield environment requierd them. A-3's to A-5's were more likely to have Altitude kit if fitted for Western Front and Tropicals on the Eastern & African Fronts.
Regulaly F-2's & F-3's were fitted with Trop's in the field, to the point that although not factory equipped, the they have been included as an identifing mark of early F's.
Pre 190D's used Trop's in the dusty areas of the Eastern Front, Med & Africa, they weren't offical 'repair/field kits' as such, but 'options', and so modelkit companies/makers seen to ignored them for the shiney weapons kit upgrades to sell, and be nearly all 3view drawings - and era photographers (ho'd want to take a pic of their beloved A/C in dust/sand season/storm or after a hot grueling mission eh).
Once BMW engine developments increased power at altitude, increasing allied air supperiority, reliabilty vs average A/C lifespan & retreating into closer to the reiche environmentals meant later built A/C weren't as often fitted with them. Older models like 2's, 3's & A-5's soldiering on in some axis allies forces and german 2nd line, night harassment/nachtjabo, high alt recon & training roles alledgedly still had them.

I am only intending to enquire, not request par-ce.

If you take a look at the bottom of the page 7 on external 3D thread; you will see a Fw 190 F2 fitted with trop filters ;)

Regarding the hight altitude set, it's not planed yet beacause only 3 Fw 190 A3/U7 where produce and operational.

Thanks for the answer C6'
I obviously hadn't checked that before posting :D I didn't know the numbers of U7's, the books authors/compliers didn't seem to know either.

Claymore, Hades says your 190 pack will not be in UP3? is it timing issue or other?

Yes just a timing issue to not delayed the release of UP 3.0 because my cockpits are not currently compatible with radionavigation of 4.101.

When this addition will be done I think the pack will be integrated in UP 3.0 in the same time as an update.
