exactly what I have and what I did.  The map does not show up on the map list in FMB....???  Did you copy over a map slot in the .ini file??  Or did you just add it to the very end? 

UPDATE--OK so very strange..there are two off screen map slots that dont show up.  So I actually have the map installed correctly..can bring the map up now...but can not fly anything on it..loads in the FMB..but wont save anything or let me fly...must not have all the static or map objects? 

Any suggestions?

Same thing happened to me, found the problem : Missing objects in your static.ini:

buildings.House$FordIslandTower
buildings.House$storage_006 
anyone know where I can get these?

I am not 100% sure, but I think the first item is to be found in TC Hawaiian islands map.

FordIslandTower is in "MOD TElmo", Im still looking for "buildings.House$storage_006", I dont have this one but my map works with out it. So maybe for now look for MOD TElmo and that may get your map to work.

OK...Loaded that pack and the map runs now...but there is not a single object on it.  All town areas..etc are blank.  Should it be this way....or am I still missing some object packs?

Remember it's a beta version only; Norway is populated to a certain extend (villages along the coast line and some airstrips)

Great map with great potential. It'll take a lot of work and quite some time before it's fully populated.

My own 'wish list' is that it further west alomg the Moray Firth to include Spey Bay, so that missions from the Dallachy Strike Wing (RAF Dallachy), and 9 and 617 Sqns attack on the Tirpitz from RAF Lossiemouth, could be simulated. Suppose I'll have to learn map-making.

One little request though - Please change "Maray Firth" to "Moray Firth".

Just received answer from the author to my querry: he is working on new version employing 2048 pixel textures, size 1:2. Still WIP.
