Wow! That must have been a lot of work this map. Congratulations. 
Once in a while I take a look at Aviaskins (with Google Translation of course) to see what's going on. But I seem to have missed your map. 
One remark: On page 5 I see a map of The Netherlands but please do not use it for this map or the next one. It is definately a post WWII map.  A lot of land and some cities did not exist at that time.
Just to let you know.

SND-1940 Beta made by V@s'OK

Scotland-Norway-Denmark (Beta1)

Beta version of my map with built-up southern coast of Norway, the two land and two water Field. Ready for 100% of terrain maps, textures, rivers, water, etc. At least one can be sure. The map is on the shoals of which I know very well, but so far have neither the time nor the opportunity to correct.


For correct work need all the maps available fashion, at this time, the objects for the Il-2 1946.

OK need some help getting this running.  Followed the tutorial got everything loaded in the right place...program runs fine.  Cant see the map in the FMB load area.  Thinking it is because there is no more room on the maps menu to see it??  Anyone that has it up and running want to post what to do here.  Do I replace a map..loaded it in the Mods area as the tutorial says.  Even loaded it in the files area...nada.  Can anyone provide some direction or a quick walkthrough of how they made it work?

I run a SAS mod-activated game; I placed the SND_1940 map inside my IL2/MODS/mapmods/maps folder, the SND _mapTex folder inside IL2/MODS/Mapmods/maps/_Tex folder, added the lines  SND_1940     SND_1940/load.ini to my all.ini file inside IL2/MODS?Mapmods/maps

exactly what I have and what I did.  The map does not show up on the map list in FMB....???  Did you copy over a map slot in the .ini file??  Or did you just add it to the very end? 

UPDATE--OK so very strange..there are two off screen map slots that dont show up.  So I actually have the map installed correctly..can bring the map up now...but can not fly anything on it..loads in the FMB..but wont save anything or let me fly...must not have all the static or map objects? 

Any suggestions?

yeah use the static ini checker to see whats missing.
